Acts 4: 32 – 35

“The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all. So right out of college, we were taking that organization to campus fellowship to scale and I decided to defer jobs actually to stay on and scale it to the universities; There was no needy person among them. ”

Acts 4: 32-35 is CCF’s anchor Bible verse which illustrates the 1st Christian Community as a Cooperative of Owners & Stewards.

How can CFC live out the life of the First Christian Community today?

  • Basic Commitment – The commitment to love and serve one another is to be ready to meet one another’s needs (1 Pet. 1:22; Phil. 2:1-4).
  • Proper Stewardship –  It is our duty and responsibility to harness, develop and utilize them properly in order to contribute to the common good and continue to serve each other’s needs (Lk. 19:13-27; Col. 3:23;).
